The user should have the functionality to keep the formatting of the text content while pasting the text in the design e.g. "CMD + SHT + V" functionality to keep the formatting intact and Match Style and "CMD + V" to paste as Plain Text.

Fortunately, by default, Clean Pasting is turned on. If you want to preserve formatting, you can turn this functionality off.
