I am also seeing that if I duplicate a timer and change the (new) duplicated version, it updates the settings of the previous timer.
Some of our users have reported that timers in their sent emails are broken after emails have been sent. The workaround we've suggested is for users to never re-use or duplicate a timer when editing an email template, always to delete and re-add a new timer block.
Very frustrating for our users!
